IMBA

We received notice this week from Sallie Hoefer, Chapter Services Manager at the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), that CROCT is now an IMBA Chapter.

Matt Andrews, IMBAOur thanks to Matt Andrews, Associate Regional Director for IMBA’s Midwest Region, for guiding us through the process. See this April blog post on Matt’s visit to Northfield for a CROCT board meeting.

A visit from IMBA’s Matt Andrews: CROCT board considers becoming a chapter

L to R: Jeremy Bokman, Carl Arnold, Curtis Ness, Scott Koehler, Galen Murry, Matt Andrews  Matt Andrews, Associate Regional Director for IMBA's Midwest Region

Matt Andrews, Associate Regional Director for IMBA’s Midwest Region, met with some members of the CROCT Board on Monday to explain IMBA’s Chapter Program. He was somewhat more than marginally adequate. (I’ve gotten to know Matt as a MORC board member as he’s also MORC’s Executive Director.)

We’ll likely vote on whether or not to become a Chapter at our next Board meeting on May 5.
